When Loulou started, I had no idea it would grow as much as it has. It started out as a fun weekend project and has turned into something that I am very passionate about. As time went on, I continued to get positive feedback on my chilli recipe and wanted to see just how far I could take it. I did a search on chilli competitions and came across two that were taking place right here in New Brunswick, so I registered. The experience was a lot of fun and also very insightful. I am always up for a good challenge!
The first competition was held at Riverview Pro Kids in Moncton, and this is where my chilli took 1rst prize. I was so excited! The next competition was held in Fredericton. Here, I came in 3rd place. Taking in all the pointers I was lucky enough to get from the judges, the 2020 goal is to tweak the recipe enough to make it competition ready.
